Tough times need fresh eyes?
As we know the commercial world around us is changing constantly. However as this change is frequently gradual, business owners and managers with a strong internal focus are often the last to note these changes. Whatever the state of your industry or business, there is an immediate opportunity to stop and take stock. Business is tough and if you don’t want to be left behind, it’s not too late to change your point of view now.
Ask yourself the following questions.
- Has my customer changed?
- What are my customers looking for?
- What am I not selling?
- Am I missing out on something that’s in the market?
- Is my competitor taking my customers?
- Do my customers know what I can do to help them?
- Am I confusing or boring my potential customers?
- Is my company product or customer centric?
- How much should I be investing and on what?
- Have we lost our point of difference?
If you want your sales and marketing efforts to stimulate business then you need to understand the issues and problems that will keep your prospects awake at night. When was the last time you asked?
