The ‘must’ of mobile communication

Historically, there was always someone in your household who would spend hours talking on the phone. There was no privacy. 

The desire to communicate privately is one reason a whole generation (mostly teens) have abandoned talking on the phone. This has prompted that generation to switch to mobile for the likes of instant messaging as they find it more private. These pathfinders have now influenced the broader population communication behavior. 

Texting has become the norm. Landline use is down, while mobile phone use is up that includes all the things people do on phones — talking, texting, playing games, taking photos etc. another reason why people have turned to use of mobile device is due to constant updates. There is more exciting things using a mobile device for updates on family and friends via Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels, group messaging using WhatsApp, Viber etc compared to landline conversations.
